Dr. Melissa Sheets - Omaha Sleep Apnea DentistAt Advanced Dental Sleep Treatment Center, we understand how complicated and frustrating it can feel to get diagnosed with sleep apnea and finally find a comfortable and effective treatment that works for you. We want to help patients get the treatment they need to improve their health without jumping through hoops or visiting multiple doctors. Our one-stop-shop for sleep helps patients seamlessly navigate through every aspect of their sleep treatment. From start to finish, we strive to see that every single patient who walks through our door is successfully treated.

New Patient Appointment

Before we can prescribe a sleep apnea treatment, we first meet with patients for a new patient appointment. During this time, we will review any past sleep test results in addition to examining the airways. This test is read and interpreted by a Board Certified Sleep Physician. Patients don’t have to leave home to take their test or search for a physician for a diagnosis. We can most often take care of everything from our office.

Sleep Apnea Treatment

After we receive your test results and recommendations from a Board Certified Sleep Physician, we can then discuss different treatment options, which may include CPAP, oral appliances, or combination therapy, which involves both CPAP and oral appliances. Throughout your treatment, we will follow up with you to ensure you’re happy with your treatment so we can make adjustments if needed.

Dr. Tracy Brigden

Dr. Brigden was born in Blackpool, England and moved to the United States with his parents in 1970. Beginning his career as a radiologic technologist specializing in CAT scans and MRIs, Dr. Brigden considered going to medical school, but ultimately decided dentistry was where he wanted to make his impact. Dr. Brigden established a successful practice at Legacy Dental, and in 2015 decided to focus more on sleep treatment and thus joined Advanced Dental Sleep Treatment Center. Dr. Brigden shadowed Dr. Roubal for a year before seeing his own patients and learned what it takes clinically to far exceed national standards for successful sleep apnea and snoring treatment. Along with hands on experience with Dr. Roubal, Dr. Brigden has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education courses specific to Dental Sleep treatment, and in 2020, became a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, which demonstrates the highest level of dedication and knowledge in dental sleep health.

Dr. Roger Roubal

In 2012, Dr. Roubal limited his practice to snoring and sleep apnea treatment, establishing Advanced Dental Sleep Treatment Center. He became a Medical and DME provider so that his patients could utilize their medical insurance benefits at his practice and continually invested in his team and equipment in order to provide the best sleep apnea care in the area. When considering retirement, he was very choosy about who to pass along the practice to and found the perfect match in Dr. Sheets, who is caring, kind, smart, and educated. He will likely pop into the office periodically and is always available to the team for consultation but officially kicked off retirement in 2022. During this time he looks forward to spending more time with his fiancée, kids, grandkids, and hopes to do some travelling as well. He is very thankful and cherishes the time spent with his team and patients.
