At Advanced Dental Sleep Treatment Center, we understand how complicated and frustrating it can feel to get diagnosed with sleep apnea and finally find a comfortable and effective treatment that works for you. We want to help patients get the treatment they need to improve their health without jumping through hoops or visiting multiple doctors. Our one-stop-shop for sleep helps patients seamlessly navigate through every aspect of their sleep treatment. From start to finish, we strive to see that every single patient who walks through our door is successfully treated.
New Patient Appointment
Before we can prescribe a sleep apnea treatment, we first meet with patients for a new patient appointment. During this time, we will review any past sleep test results in addition to examining the airways. If a patient does not have a sleep apnea diagnosis or their last test was a long time ago, we will send them home with a Home Sleep Test (HST) the same day as their first patient appointment, if appropriate. This test is read and interpreted by a Board Certified Sleep Physician. Patients don’t have to leave home to take their test or search for a physician for a diagnosis. We can most often take care of everything from our office.
Sleep Apnea Treatment
After we receive your test results and recommendations from a Board Certified Sleep Physician, we can then discuss our different treatment options. We offer both CPAP and oral appliances. We have a Registered Respiratory Therapist in our office so we can provide CPAP to patients who need immediate treatment or whose insurance requires the use of CPAP. We can also use combination therapy that involves both CPAP and oral appliances. Throughout your CPAP treatment, we will follow up with you to ensure you’re happy with your treatment so we can make adjustments if needed.
Many patients prefer oral appliances to CPAP. We offer a Treatment Guarantee for patients who start with an oral appliance. If we cannot sufficiently treat their sleep apnea if they start with an oral appliance, we will switch them over to CPAP at no additional out of pocket cost. We monitor all oral appliances with home sleep tests so we can objectively measure results and ensure patients receive adequate treatment.
